I had a lot of fun with fur texture on this and finding my center with so much help from Ursa herself. I still miss her so much but feel richer for just having known her in the five years we spent together.
Its eerie how alive she feels to me through this piece. I feel a far deeper connection with this than I do with any other photograph Ive taken in her short time here...

Two Different Worlds

When I met these two pugs they were just going through their transition to Alaska's cold weather from the hot climate in Texas.
It was a joy to blend the plant life and landmarks present in both states.
